Hellooo and welcome!! Thank you for being here! I'm Jessie, a proud Mexican, Jewish performer, born and raised by two professional modern dancers in Santa Monica California! Growing up being obsessed with Hannah Montana, I always knew I wanted to perform, so once I discovered Musical Theatre, I knew I had found my true passion. I recently gained my BFA in Musical Theatre with a minor in Dance from California State University, Chico and have made the move to New York City since graduating!
I am extremely passionate about creating a diverse and equitable environment for every person involved or wanting to be involved in theatre and will continue to fight for inclusion in every space I enter. In 2023 I had the incredible honor of being one of the first ever undergraduate students to present at the Musical Theatre Educators Alliance Conference discussing the importance of a Social Justice in Theatre class in every musical theatre department.
When I'm not singing and dancing... I love to crochet and knit (Reach out to me for commissions!), make clothes, binge-watch TV shows (huge Survivor, Love Island and Big Brother super fan!), and teach Children's Theatre (go check out my children's theatre choreography reel in the videos section!)!
